Winston Smith ist B\u00fcrger Ozeaniens und Mitglied der \u201ePartei\u201c, die Ozeanien, regiert und mittels eines gigantischen \u00dcberwachungsapparates seine Einwohner und deren Gedanken kontrolliert. Ein mysteri\u00f6ser Konterrevolution\u00e4r, Emmanuel Goldstein, der \u201eFeind des Volkes\u201c, wird t\u00e4glich in einer kollektiven verpflichtenden Hassorgie zur Zielscheibe allen Unmuts der Bev\u00f6lkerung Ozeaniens gemacht. Eines Tages beginnt Winston ein geheimes Tagebuch zu schreiben, in ein Heft, das er im Tr\u00f6delladen des Proletariers Charrington gekauft hat. Kurz darauf begegnet er der jungen, forschen Julia mit der er die Abneigung gegen die unbedingte Linientreue der Partei und noch einiges mehr teilt. Als der hohe Parteifunktion\u00e4r O&#8217;Brien ihn mit einem Vorwand zu sich nach hause einl\u00e4dt und er vor Winstons und Julias Augen dort seinen \u00dcberwachungsschirm ausschaltet, um ihnen ein Buch des \u201eErzverr\u00e4ters\u201c Emmanuel Goldstein in die Hand zu geben, scheint eine neue Hoffnung geboren zu sein&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Geroge Orwells Roman \u201e1984\u201c (\u201eNineteen Eighty-Four\u201c), f\u00fcr die B\u00fchne adaptiert, feiert am 20.03.2015 um 20 Uhr in der Kathrin-T\u00fcrks-Halle in Dinslaken Premiere.
